7 Tools I Use To Run My Online Business

7 Tools I Use To Run My Online Business

What’s up guys, welcome back to my
channel. In today’s video, I’m gonna take you behind the scenes to show you how I
run my online business seamlessly using these seven tools. Now I cannot live
without these seven tools, but I’ve got a caveat. I am not a tech expert at all. These
tools are the most simple tools that I use to run my everyday stuff, so whether
I am traveling or whether I am at a conference, my business goes on because I
have these tools to support my online business. So let’s jump right in. So the first tool that I use to run my
business seamlessly is my favorite video conferencing call tool called Zoom. I
cannot live without Zoom. I use zoom for everything right everything from
recording my podcast to jumping on interviews to jumping on calls with my
clients or potential new clients to running webinars to running masterminds.
I use them for everything now. Before I use Zoom, I used to use Skype. But ever
since Skype got bought over by Microsoft, my god, that program keeps on crashing on
my laptop and I’ve tried everything possible to use Skype but it
just wouldn’t work for me. So I eventually moved on to Zoom and Zoom has
never failed me. What I really liked about Zoom is that I’m able to record
the videos without having an external third-party tool the way
you would need with Skype. With native Skype it’s really impossible to record
the video within Skype itself the last time I checked, whereas with Zoom,
the native platform allows you to record the whole conversation just by
clicking on a simple button. And if you’re like me and you have a podcast, Zoom
is great because it allows you to record audio tracks separately. So it comes in
separate tracks. Now that is great when it comes to editing because you can
always remove the background noise from both parties because they’re
now separate tracks, you’re not in one single track. It is way easier that way.
Another thing that you can do of zoom is you can also record videos like this. So
for example if you want a great way, a simple way to record videos from your
laptop and you don’t have any fancy tools and apps, Zoom is a great way to just start recording hit the record button and
start talking like this. Once you’re done just stop the button and your video is
now ready. The second tool that I cannot live without is Zapier. Now Zapier is a
tool that basically integrates all your tools together and helps one to talk to
the other tool. So for example after posting on Twitter you can use Zapier to
say hey once I post on Twitter I want to post on Facebook as well. So that’s what
Zapier does. Zapier basically connects both tools at the same time. Now I use Zapier for a lot of things mostly for my Facebook Messenger chat Bots right so
for example if someone were to download a lead magnet inside of my Facebook
Messenger chat bot, I use Zapier to capture that email address and send it
over to my email software. All that is done seamlessly, it runs 24/7, I never
have to go in and try to do anything manually. And Zapier is great, they’ve got
a free plan, they’ve got pro plans as well. So go in and check out Zapier and
see how you can automate your business using this one tool so that it reduces
the amount of time that you spend trying to figure out all those little things in
your business. Because trust me, when it comes to growing a business, you’ve got
to automate your business and using a tool like Zapier allows you to automate
your business as much as possible. Now the third tool that I really really
love and I use it pretty much almost every single day, it’s called Thrive
Architect. Now Thrive Architect is a great plug-in that I use to create all
of my websites. It’s a drag-and-drop plug-in that really helps you just create these beautiful websites without knowing
how to code or HTML or CSS, which I am absolutely no idea anything about
that right. So I’m able to create all of my landing pages, I’m able to create all
of my websites, I’m able to make changes anytime I want just by going into
Thrive Architect and using it to create my website. And the best part of it is
you can actually use this tool for a lifetime with just one low price and I
absolutely love thrive architect for that because it makes it so much easier
and cost-effective as well. For one license you can use it for up to
five websites or five domains right so that is absolutely cool. I’ve got my
Chrys Media domain, I’ve got my hack your online business podcast domain.
That’s two websites, I’ve got three more that I can play with. So go check out Thrive
Architect if you’re looking for an easy way to create websites that will allow
you to drag and drop without knowing how to code or knowing HTML or CSS. Now my
fourth tool is what I use for my email marketing. I use MailerLite.
I used to use tools like MailChimp and SendGrid but I eventually settled on
MailerLite for now because they offer the best bang for your buck. Seriously
the price is so low yet it gives you you know pretty much the same features that
you will get with you know tools like MailChimp or SendGrid.
So if you don’t already know I’m super super big on email marketing. Email
marketing is pretty much the basis and the foundation of my business and it has
to be the foundation of your online business. So if you don’t already have
email marketing setup in place, if you don’t have an email list, I’ll highly
encourage you to go start building your email list and I encourage you to use
the tool that I’m using MailerLite. They’re super awesome, they’re fast
with their responses whenever I have issues or I don’t know how to use this
new feature or I’m trying to do some automation of my emails and I have
no idea how to do it, I just send out a support ticket and they get back to me
never more than 30 minutes right, so they always get back to me really fast and
they’re able to walk me through a lot of a lot of times when I just don’t know
what to do. So I definitely highly recommend go check out MailerLite. Now
the fifth tool that I use to run pretty much my entire business is Google Drive.
Now Google Drive is where I place all of my notes, all of my files, it’s where I
create all my presentations and all of my documents, it’s all within Google
Drive. And the reason why I use Google Drive is because I can access Google
Drive from any laptop or any computer right, so because I’m always on the move
I’m always traveling and when you have an online business you want to be able
to access your notes your documents your contracts, everything your files
wherever you are or from your phone. Sometimes I’m off at a conference and I really want to pull out something to
show a potential customer. So what I do is I just go onto my phone, I’ve got a
Google Drive app and I just go right into my app and I just show them. I
won’t be able to do it if I’m not using something like Google
Drive that would allow me to access all of my files remotely. Of course Google
Drive is not the only cloud storage platform out there. There’s Dropbox
that you can use, there’s Box as well. So go check out and compare the prices and
see what works best for you. I know that Google Drive gets some flake because
they don’t have the best privacy when it comes to Google scanning your files and
having the ability to actually edit your files as well so that might be something
that you might want to think about if you’re comparing between Google Drive or
Dropbox or a box or any other cloud storage platforms out there that might
provide a better privacy than Google Drive. Now number six is Evernote. I use
Evernote to capture all of my note takings whether I’m at a conference whether I’m out running and I suddenly have an idea when I
wake up and I am just like oh my god I need to note down this idea I had, or
when I’m you know taking a shower or when I’m cooking and I’m listening to a
podcast and the hosts say something awesome and I’m like I need to
action on that I record them all down in Evernote. I’ve got Evernote on my laptop and I’ve got Evernote app on my phone, whatever
I’m doing as long as I’ve got an idea I want to make sure I’m capturing that
down right I want to take down those notes and Evernote is my favorite
platform and it comes to that. And the best part is it’s free guys so go check
out Evernote if you are looking for a note-taking app or a platform that
allows you to just remember all those things that you need to do or you want
to action on. And my last favorite tool is iMovie. This YouTube video and all of
my YouTube videos are edited on iMovie. Now I like to keep things simple right, I
am not a tech person, I am not a video editor. I have no experience at all in
video editing or recording like this but I want to keep things simple. The main
thing to remember is you want to keep doing content, you want to keep creating
content right, keep putting out content because people need to know like and trust
you, so even if it means using a simple platform like iMovie to edit your videos,
that’s totally cool guys right, this video it ain’t so shabby right? So I use
iMovie for all of my videos whether that’s editing videos for my
webinars or editing videos for YouTube, I use iMovie for everything and it’s super
easy to get started. If you are using a Mac it comes
automatically installed on your Mac. Now I don’t know what is the alternative
for Windows users so unfortunately I can’t help you but iMovie is
the tool that I use when it comes to video editing. Alright guys so that’s a
little peek into how I run my online business with these seven tools. Now if
